Meet Katrina Gier Lewison

A Proven Leader

  • Led a Blackhawk helicopter platoon in the 101st Airborne Division during Operation Iraqi Freedom
  • Commanded an aviation company of U.S. and Korean soldiers in the 2nd Infantry Division in Seoul, Republic of Korea
  • Taught leadership development to West Point cadets as part of the Eisenhower Leader Development Program, in conjunction with Columbia University in New York City
  • Elected to the Manhattan-Ogden USD 383 Board of Education in 2017
  • Serves on the Strategic Planning, Facilities & Growth, and Technology Committees for USD 383

A Kansan at Heart

Following a successful military career, Katrina Lewison moved back to her home state to work in growing Kansas businesses. A Hutchinson native and Buhler High School graduate, she now lives in Manhattan with her husband, Tyler (her West Point classmate), and their three daughters, Marlena, Elsa and Ida.


Katrina is the Director of Consulting & Training at CivicPlus, one of the fastest growing companies in America. She has graduate degrees in Public Policy and Organizational Psychology & Leadership. She is active in her Manhattan church community and volunteers on various committees and with her children’s activities.
